Pivot tables in Excel are a powerful tool for summarizing and analyzing data, but they do have limitations when it comes to certain types of charts, such as scatter plots or bubble charts. However, you can still create these types of charts using the data from your pivot table by following these steps:

For Scatter Plot Chart:

Create a Pivot Table: First, create a pivot table with the data you want to visualize. This will serve as the source data for your scatter plot.
Copy Pivot Table Data: Right-click on the pivot table and select "Copy" or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+C) to copy the pivot table data.
Paste the Data: Go to a new worksheet or location in your existing worksheet where you want to create the scatter plot. Right-click and select "Paste" or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+V) to paste the copied data.
Create Scatter Plot: With the pasted data selected, go to the "Insert" tab in Excel and select "Scatter" from the Charts group. Choose the scatter plot type you want, such as a simple scatter plot or a scatter plot with markers only.
Format and Customize: You can now format and customize the scatter plot as needed, including adding labels, titles, and legends.

For Bubble Chart:

Creating a bubble chart from pivot table data is a bit more complex since it requires additional columns for the size of the bubbles. Here's how you can do it:

Create a Pivot Table: Like before, start by creating a pivot table with the data you want to use.
Add Size Data: In your source data or the pivot table itself, add a new column that represents the size of the bubbles in your chart. This could be a numeric value that corresponds to the size of each data point.
Copy Pivot Table Data: Copy the pivot table data, including the newly added size column.
Paste the Data: Paste the data into a new worksheet or location in your existing worksheet.
Create Bubble Chart: Select the pasted data and go to the "Insert" tab in Excel. From the Charts group, select "Bubble Chart."
Format and Customize: Format and customize your bubble chart as needed, including labels, titles, legends, and specifying the size data column.

By following these steps, you can create scatter plots and bubble charts using data from pivot tables in Excel, even though pivot tables themselves don't directly support these chart types.
