My IMDB analysis project got rejected

The reason of rejection is that i have to explain step by step analysis and I feel i have pretty much explained everything in the ppt which is my project report.Does a project report and ppt means 2 different things? If possible please tell me what is missing I will do the required tasks and resubmit it . Also my project rejection has reflected on my dashboard today that is 15/09/23 and i am asked to resubmit the project on 14/9/23. I am confused. Please help me
