Doubt about tool to use for Project

In the IMDB Movie analytics project is it mandatory to use Excel for the analysis and data cleaning and visualization or can we use python, powerBI and other tools to do the work. Also is the video limit 5 minutes or one can make a longer video for the explanation part. In the description it is said to do it using excel and 5 minutes for the video.The excel part seems to be common in every description so wanted to confirm if one can do the data cleaning and analysis on other tools too or not.
