ITS NOT MAKING ANY SENSE :IMDB task1

my question is about IMDB Movie analysis in this: . Movie Genre Analysis: Analyze the distribution of movie genres and their impact on the IMDB score. •Task: Determine the most common genres of movies in the dataset. Then, for each genre, calculate descriptive statistics (mean, median, mode, range, variance, standard deviation) of the IMDB scores. -- ITS NOT MAKING ANY SENSE: -- have to find out mean/median/mode of unique genre, but the probvlem is:All movies have mixed genre and every miove has imdb score e.g 7.9 ... so this mean its 7.9 score to all gnere(action|thrill|SCifi) of a particular move .. i have to keep this 7.9 to all genre of a particular move then i have to do same for all genre of all movies (which mean in all rows) .... then i have to find out Action genre all im db score which i have to collet then have to mean...... .. i found this very complex and i dont think it would be the right way to do it ..i have used average if also .. plz help me and need your guidance t0 solve this problem .. my project has been rejected at once --
