MYSQL VIDEO 4 DOUBT

IN 4th video i.e., DATA NORMALIZATION AND JOINS in mysql part, I am not able to understand how foreign key as well as primary key both point to a single table, as foreign key definition used in the video clearly states that it points to a primary key of the next table in same database.
