Failed installation of SQL workbench

I followed the installation tutorial provided with the 2nd project, for installing SQL. But everytime I start the system it shows a blank screen. I cant start training unless i have SQL installed. Also need to submit the 2nd project before deadline. Kindly provide solution as soon as possible!
