Operation & Metric Analytics - Case Study 1

The sample data given has just 8 rows. Is it incomplete? In a guide video, it says we need to create & curate the data by adding additional records on our own. Can someone clarify? Instructions are bit incomplete about how to begin the process. I had mailed on support email also, it said I need to post the doubts on forum.
