Accept the License Agreement: After the download starts, you will be redirected to the Oracle website to accept the Oracle Technology Network License Agreement. Review the terms and conditions, and if you agree, click the "Accept License Agreement" radio button.
Download the DMG Archive: Once the license agreement is accepted, the download should begin automatically. Wait for the DMG file to finish downloading.
Locate and Open the DMG File: Open Finder on your macOS system and locate the downloaded DMG file. It should be in your default download location or wherever you saved it. Double-click on the DMG file to open it.
Run the Installer: In the DMG file window, you should see the MySQL installer package. Double-click on the package file to start the installation process.
Follow the Installer Instructions: Follow the instructions provided by the MySQL installer. You may be prompted to enter your system password to authorize the installation. Proceed with the installation process by clicking "Continue" or "Next" as instructed.
Configure MySQL: During the installation, you will reach a configuration step where you can choose the installation type (typical, custom, etc.) and set up a root password for MySQL. Make your selections based on your project requirements and preferences.
