IMDB Analysis

I am getting started with the IMDB movie analysis project, and I was going through some existing doubts just to make it clear for myself. I noticed that you guys mentioned to use something called "loom video". Nothing about it has been mentioned in the project folder, so where did that come from? Also, we are given a set of questions that we are supposed to answer (A-F), as well as there's a question about framing the "problem" ourselves and answering it. So, are we supposed to do both? Please explain the loom video concept as well.
